Rich capabilities spanning Verification and Validation plans, requirement test traces, test submission workflow, and detailed test design and execution tracking help you drive the standardization and consistency that are key to confidence and success in your design. Cockpit supports full test protocols including setup instructions, execution steps, and expected results
LINK TO EXTERNAL TEST TOOLS
The Cockpit Platform provides teams the ability to link to external test result tools and databases. Store test protocols and results in Cockpit or connect to the external test systems. Results can be embedded or simply linked in.
COMPLETE TEST PROTOCOLS
The Cockpit Platform allows teams to create entire test protocols which can be linked back to the requirements they are testing. Step-libraries are automatically generated during the writing phase, permitting simple re-use of common steps (e.g., “Log in”).
Define multiple execution milestones for tests in any protocol, such as “Stage 1”, “Stage 2”, “Product Release”, etc. All text written can be general or milestone-specific. Reuse/toggle the document to correspond to the current milestone. Control all milestone testing through Cockpit’s built-in workflow.
CENTRALLY LOCATED RESULTS
Cockpit captures results from every test execution run. If a test will verify more than one requirement, the results for each are captured and presented clearly, without restriction. This information is then reported showing test completeness for any phase of development.
