Unified Data Management Model
- Requirements Management
- Risk Management
- Test Management
- Voice of the Customer Management
- Critical Parameter Management
- Cost Management
- Meetings and Action Item Management
A requirement should not be isolated from its driving consumer or regulatory stimulus, related meetings, action items, test methods and tests, risks, hazards, FMEAs, mitigation plans, critical parameters, and management reports that it influences. Cockpit unifies a team’s entire development workflow in the cloud.
EASE OF USE
Cockpit data is rendered into dynamic online templates that are created on-demand from the template library and support creation, review, and approval workflows. Cockpit documents and templates are fully configurable at any level of user access which the customer deems appropriate.
Traceability is one of Cockpit’s driving values. Getting a tabular trace from system breakdown to requirements to tests or vice versa is as simple as a mouse click. Use Cockpit’s built-in QFD/House of Quality templates to build matrix relationships at all levels of customer requirements, product requirements, and specifications.
PRIVILEGING AND CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT
Cockpit supports an extensive privileging model, allowing teams to restrict or grant access to users at all levels within the platform. Cockpit also supports extensive configuration management both within the platform itself and with Cognition’s Cockpit IDE.
Unified Data Management Model Features
Cockpit provides fully configurable workflow and change control process support on projects, documents, individual requirements, etc. and is compliant with 21 CFR Part 11.
All Cockpit documents are dynamic web pages with content produced from stored data. Cockpit supports requirements editing, management, allocation, authorizing, reviewing, approving, markup, etc…
Total traceability from start to finish
Cockpit supports a full privileging model:
- Generic privileging
- Workflow/Role based privileging
- Restrict view and editing privileges so only the people who need access have it.
